The
Heartland Airborne Memorial Association was formed for the sole purpose of overseeing
the advertising,
fundraising, and construction of the Memorial. All money collected shall be
used for the sole purpose of realizing this dream. In the event more money is
collected than is needed to pay the cost of the memorial, the balance shall
be used for a maintenance trust fund.
The
name, Heartland Airborne Memorial Association, was chosen because the Memorial
will be built in the Heartland of America Park located in Omaha, Nebraska.
